The Role
We are looking for a highly accomplished instructor to teach our Patient Care Technician Program. Stepful programs are designed to support students at every step of the way, from getting certified by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) to finding high-quality healthcare jobs. This is a fully remote contract position.
What You’ll Do
Teach highly-engaging live classes over Zoom, 2 mornings or evenings a week
Grade student projects and provide feedback as necessary
Engage with students daily via email and SMS, inspiring them and guiding them through graduation
Join weekly meetings to receive guidance and direction from the internal team at Stepful
Provide ongoing support, trouble-shoot issues, prepare and plan for future modules, as needed
Qualifications
Experience teaching Patient Care Technician courses online, with knowledge of course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising
Clinical experience as a Patient Care Technician strongly preferred; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience will also be considered
Patient Care Technician Certification with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
Experience with digital tools for teaching, teaching in either online or blended/hybrid formats
Experience teaching students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Stellar writing and communication skills
Ability to work 10 hours per week per class taught
