Gross annual base salary: USD – 65,000 -84,500 (Additional variable compensation and benefits may apply. Total compensation is based on experience, skills, and location using objective, job-related criteria)
Summary
This Consultant position will provide an integral consultative component to our customer’s ongoing efforts to expedite the ROI and maximize the effectiveness of their business performance management solutions, especially OneStream . Consultants are responsible for providing solutions by working with customers to develop applications primarily for financial reporting. A Consultant has hands-on knowledge of OneStream XF and a track record of successful implementations as well as core product training. A Consultant completes the implementation work in a timely manner and can assist in validating the requirements and design of the application.
A Consultant performs the routine and non-routine activities in each area of responsibility independently, with minimal coaching and supervision. OneStream Consultants typically work together with customer resources and frequently with a team of other consultants to implement complex web-based Business Performance Management solutions. Teamwork is an important function of this role. The ideal candidate possesses experience working in finance organizations, with sound understanding of the nature of work performed by financial analysts, controllers, finance directors, and CFOs.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Build extensible cubes & metadata, data sources, transformation rules, forms, journal templates, workflows.
- Migrate the various OS application (metadata, CV's, Dashboards, etc) and system (security, custom tables, etc) artifacts.
- Write certification questions.
- Write cube views, report books, dashboards (reports & charts,) custom workspace dashboards, quick views.
- Write basic conditional business rules and basic business rules.
- Write application & project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the project team as well as the customer’s senior management team.
- Conduct customer training.
- Act as an onboarding guide/mentor to new Consultants.
- Produce project documentation including status reports, design documentation framework, application documentation, end-user training materials, test scripts, validation templates, etc.
- Participate in Regional, North America, and Global practice calls.
- Present Lunch & Learn knowledge share sessions.
- Respond to Inquiries from OneStream Employees via OneCommunity.
- Compile & distribute Weekly Status Reports.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in fields such as (but not limited to) Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, CIS, OR equivalent work experience.
- 2 – 5 years of CPM/EPM Implementation experience.
- Demonstrated experience with MS Office and data modeling skills.
- Knowledge of financial accounting processes.
- Strong technical skills/background as it relates to product implementation.
- Experience with databases (Oracle, Essbase, etc.).
Preferred Education and Experience
- A professional accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CMA, CGA, CA), advanced degrees (MBA, MFA), and/or other professional designations or certifications (applicable to accounting/finance and information technology).
- Experience with VB.net or Visual Basic. Any object-oriented programing a plus.
- Prior experience with any of the following products is a plus:
- OneStream
- SAP Outlooksoft BPC
- SAP BOFC (Cartesis)
- HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
- FDM (Financial Data Quality Management) or UpStream
- Hyperion Planning
- Hyperion Essbase
- IBM Cognos
- Or Other CPM/EPM software tools
