Thrive. We love what we do and bring our best selves to work every day. We show up as real human beings who speak from the heart, value others’ contributions and invest in each other’s growth.

The Role

As an Onboarding Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for new customers post-sale, primarily for mid-market and enterprise accounts, helping them get up and running successfully with TaskRay. You’ll ensure a positive initial experience, drive early and long-term value, and provide both strategic and technical guidance. You’ll manage onboarding projects, support solution design, and perform hands-on configuration of TaskRay within Salesforce environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the customer’s primary project manager, managing expectations, dependencies, and deliverables throughout the onboarding journey

  • Effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite, to drive alignment, progress, and outcomes

  • Participate in late-stage pre-sales engagements helping shape the scope and plan for trials, paid POCs, and onboardings

  • Conduct discovery through a business review and solutioning process to understand customer needs and define an optimal path to value

  • Lead TaskRay setup, configuration, and support for customers with onboarding packages, working in both internal and customer sandboxes

  • Consult and guide customers on TaskRay best practices, setup strategies, and configuration options based on their goals

  • Support customers in testing and deployment processes

  • Lead customer training sessions in partnership with an assigned Customer Success Manager

  • Create and deliver onboarding materials to support customer enablement

  • Own key onboarding KPIs, including time to go-live and post-onboarding customer satisfaction scores

What You Bring to the Table
  • 3-5+ years of experience with mid-market to enterprise sized B2B customers in roles such as an Implementation Specialist, Onboarding Consultant, Solutions Consultant, or similar

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a technical Salesforce.com role, whether in Implementation, Salesforce Admin, or similar

  • Intermediate to advanced Salesforce Administrator skills

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required; additional certifications are a plus

    • Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification preferred

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

  • Skilled at balancing technical terminology with business acumen

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; concise, persuasive, and empathetic

  • Highly organized and efficient with exceptional follow through

  • Solid project management skills

  • Able to work at different levels within the organization; technical user to C level

Additionally, TaskRay offers highly competitive non-cash compensation including:

  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits

  • Every other Friday off

  • Flexible PTO

  • 12 weeks paid family and medical leave, 16 weeks for birthing people

  • Vacation bonuses

  • 401(k) matching
