The RoleAs an Onboarding Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for new customers post-sale, primarily for mid-market and enterprise accounts, helping them get up and running successfully with TaskRay. You’ll ensure a positive initial experience, drive early and long-term value, and provide both strategic and technical guidance. You’ll manage onboarding projects, support solution design, and perform hands-on configuration of TaskRay within Salesforce environments.
What You’ll DoOwn the onboarding process for TaskRay customers, setting them up for long-term success, bringing in senior resources as needed
Serve as the customer’s primary project manager, managing expectations, dependencies, and deliverables throughout the onboarding journey
Effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite, to drive alignment, progress, and outcomes
Participate in late-stage pre-sales engagements helping shape the scope and plan for trials, paid POCs, and onboardings
Conduct discovery through a business review and solutioning process to understand customer needs and define an optimal path to value
Lead TaskRay setup, configuration, and support for customers with onboarding packages, working in both internal and customer sandboxes
Consult and guide customers on TaskRay best practices, setup strategies, and configuration options based on their goals
Support customers in testing and deployment processes
Lead customer training sessions in partnership with an assigned Customer Success Manager
Create and deliver onboarding materials to support customer enablement
Own key onboarding KPIs, including time to go-live and post-onboarding customer satisfaction scores
3-5+ years of experience with mid-market to enterprise sized B2B customers in roles such as an Implementation Specialist, Onboarding Consultant, Solutions Consultant, or similar
3-5+ years of experience in a technical Salesforce.com role, whether in Implementation, Salesforce Admin, or similar
Intermediate to advanced Salesforce Administrator skills
Salesforce Administrator Certification required; additional certifications are a plus
Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification preferred
Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Skilled at balancing technical terminology with business acumen
Exceptional written and verbal communication; concise, persuasive, and empathetic
Highly organized and efficient with exceptional follow through
Solid project management skills
Able to work at different levels within the organization; technical user to C level
Cash compensation for this role is commensurate with experience. Estimated total on target earnings range is between $93,000 - $117,000 annually, made up of a base salary range between $86,000 - $106,000 per year plus uncapped variable compensation tied to performance.

This position is hybrid, based in Colorado. We value flexibility alongside intentional in-person collaboration. We expect this role to be in-office regularly during the initial onboarding period (2-3 months) and then 1-2 days per week thereafter.
Candidates must be based in Colorado and able to reliably commute to our Denver office.
Additionally, we anticipate up to 15% travel time for this role.
