Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure seamless lead handoff and pipeline progression.

Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Prospect, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in assigned market sectors, driving the sales pipeline to achieve revenue growth.
- Develop tailored commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals, ensuring alignment with company policies and profitability goals.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, conducting regular reviews to identify additional business opportunities and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, logistics, and marketing to support smooth customer onboarding and the successful execution of sales strategies.
- Track and manage sales activities using CRM systems, ensuring a continuously filled and actively managed sales funnel.
- Deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue targets, customer acquisition, and customer satisfaction (NPS).
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic sales planning and identify new business opportunities.
- Provide input and feedback on improving the inside sales processes and customer experience to ensure long-term success.
Location: Field Based - US, need to be located near a major airport
Travel: 30-50%
Major/Key Accountabilities:
Develop a customer contact plan for prospecting to engage new and existing customers in sales campaigns and build new relationships.
Conduct research on potential leads using market research tools to gather insights.
Set specific, measurable objectives for sales calls and plan relevant questions to evaluate the customer’s level of interest.
Make outbound cold calls to potential leads with the aim to introduce CHEP solutions, generate interest, and schedule meetings. Leverage Integrated Marketing team’s demand generating materials.
Send personalized emails to potential leads to generate interest and schedule meetings.
Qualify leads by understanding their needs and determining if they fit with CHEP’s ideal profile. Identify queries which require further explanation and/or hand off to another team.
Schedule follow up actions and contribute to a data-centric team, keeping track of leads through Salesforce and managing them through the pipeline.
Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure qualified leads are handed off in line with agreed SLAs.
Develop own capability to leverage knowledge on CHEP solutions, products and services, by attending formal and non-formal training.
Experience :
- Experience in sales, business development, or lead generation (industry experience a plus - FMCG, consumer goods, Transporation/Logistics, Supply Chain)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; clear and concise messaging
- CRM experience (Salesforce, Outreach) is a plus
- General knowledge of business operations and processes
- Comfortable using LinkedIn and other social media platforms for prospecting
