JOB SUMMARY

This position is eligible for remote work in one of the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. This position will require some travel for office meetings, as needed, to our corporate office in Tulsa, OK.

Job Profile Summary

ONEOK is looking for a Network Analyst III to join the Network Operations team. This position will focus on management of daily maintenance and support of network and security devices to include routers, switches, VPN connectivity, Next Generation Firewalls, and multiple other network and security related devices and tools. The selected candidate will be the final escalation point and subject matter expert for issues related to network devices. The selected candidate will work as part of a broad, cross functional organization. Knowledge and experience in Operational Technology network and security systems and the challenges associated with those environments is a requirement. A successful Analyst will be proactive, results oriented, multi-disciplined, and comfortable working with a diverse team.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Works with Information Technology teams to engineer and deploy network and security related solutions throughout the IT Environments

  • Work directly with Next Generation Firewalls

  • Manage and support VPN technologies

  • Manages and maintains full life cycle of network switches, routers, firewalls

  • Work with Information Technology infrastructure and application teams to implement network and security solutions in support of security, application and infrastructure requirements

  • Designs and refines certain functions within the information security framework that ensures confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets by protecting against unauthorized use, disclosure, modification, or loss

  • Provides guidance for certain network and information security functions including developing process/technology roadmaps and advising senior management on changes in the technical, legal and/or regulatory environments that may impact on the security of information assets

  • Works with Information Security to determine the appropriate levels of information risk for the enterprise and collaborates with affected business units and key stakeholders to ensure that exposure is minimized in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

  • Assist in the network and information security incident response processes and provide guidance to senior management related to incident escalation and resolution.

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain the identity and access management procedures to ensure proper user account provisioning. Collaborate with other information technology personnel to ensure solution designs have appropriate information security controls

  • Assist in the information security awareness, training, and educational activities for all personnel who have access to information assets

  • Collaborate with delivery teams to design, develop, and implement secure network solutions

  • Mentoring of junior team members

  • Identification, design, and implementation of process improvements

  • Experience with wireless technologies

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job related experience

Work Experience

  • Experience in managing Next Generation Firewalls and IDS/IPS Systems

  • Experience in information technology, including significant network administration and security activities

  • Experience developing information security and technology roadmaps

  • Experience in a regulated sector. Familiarity with gas / utilities business processes

  • Experience with key information security frameworks and governing bodies such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)

  • Experience researching, preparing, composing, recommendations, security documentation, flowcharts, standards, procedures, reports, and correspondence

  • Experience interacting, advising, and communicating effectively

  • Experience analyzing information, conducting meetings, and making presentations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of: Next Generation Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, NAT, IPSEC, VPN, Routing, IT infrastructure environments, wireless technologies, local and wide-area

  • Ability to: manage small to medium information security projects

  • Ability to: develop consensus and facilitate decision-making among senior executives

  • Ability to: communicate and/or exchange information; conduct oral presentations

Licenses and Certifications

  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Associate (PCNSA) preferred

  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) preferred

  • Cisco certifications preferred
