Ideally looking for candidates who are based in the Northeastern United States


National Account Manager – Regional Chains


DESCRIPTION: 


  • Manages Regional Supermarket End Users and Wholesaler Accounts sold via Distribution
  • The expectation in this role is to be in front of customer contacts/locations throughout the customer’s organization
  • Responsible for achieving sales target volume/revenue and driving profitable business growth
  • Manages overall End User customer relationship by working closely with all functional departments (Procurement, Product Development, Marketing, Quality, Finance, Category Management, Supply Chain, Forecasting A/P, other)
  • Individual requires ability to effectively build relationships at all levels of customer’s organization and relationship map with Company’s key team members  
  • Communicates all customer requirements to appropriate Novolex internal teams
  • Manages pricing updates/actions, developmental product quotations including capital requirements
  • Ensures that all Service and Quality matters are dealt with promptly and thoroughly
  • Maintains adequate sales targeting activity and ensures updates are complete and communicated via Customer Relationship Management tool
  • Works closely with customers to secure accurate demand forecasts on a timely basis
  • Provides market segment analysis including technical specifications and competitive share information, reports to leadership
  • Collaborates with Distribution team for optimal sales impact

QUALIFICATIONS: 


  • BA/BS degree required
  • 5-7 + years of CPG/Foodservice/not for resale product experience
  • Knowledge of food packaging and B2B sales preferred
  • Must be able to travel as needed to company locations – up to 40%
  • Solid communication skills including written, verbal, presentation and negotiation
  • Proficient with CRM, SAP and Microsoft Excel/PPT
  • Demonstrated Project Management skills


A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000 - $160,000 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
