What you’ll do (Roles and Responsibilities)
- You will lead the sales organization for all Key Account Managers for North America including driving short and long-term orders, revenue, and margin growth.
- Responsible for the day-to-day and strategic leadership of the NAM KA Sales organization including outside and technical sales professionals.
- Will shape the organization today and, in the future, to enable market leading profitable growth, ensuring outstanding customer relationships and right culture to deliver within GE Vernova’ s commitment to Integrity.
- You will set a vision and clear strategy to provide direction and build a one team environment.
- Lead the NAM Key Account sales organization to deliver all work in compliance with all applicable HSE regulations and employee safety practices and ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity, controllership, and compliance. Partner with all stakeholders to design, establish and execute a short & long-term regional strategy/vision for the Controls business in the region.
- Drive orders and convertibility growth for the Controls business.
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, opportunity prospecting and pipeline management.
- Own customer satisfaction and work with various functions in the business to drive solutions for product issues.
- Establish commercial strategy for the Controls product line regionally, partnering with the product line and functional leaders to deliver products and services to meet the needs of diverse customers.
- Drive continual improvement within the Sales organization via productivity and effectiveness of the team, regular coaching around sales strategy, relationship development, customer focus and workforce planning to build a strong & diverse bench for the future. Provide periodic Sales team skills assessment and feedback via performance reviews.
- Establish operating plan targets (OP) for the overall Key Account Managers organization and assess the viability of the customer, territory and/or industry segment and achieve overall orders, revenue, and CM growth targets.
- Build outstanding strategic customer relationships by responding to customer feedback promptly and ensuring the overall commercial experience exceeds customer expectations.
- Support NPI Commercialization, establishing market demands, customer acceptance, pricing, and commercial requirements.
- Partner with all GE Vernova Business to drive Controls acceptance and orders growth and higher penetration within region.
- Partner daily with Region Commercial and Services leaders to execute the growth targets.
- Provide continual feedback and coaching outside of Sales to increase the effectiveness of the overall regional organization.
- Partner with Americas Commercial Operations leader to prioritize work, improve win rate, hit rate and efficiency related to resource utilization and delivered results.
- Regularly engage with Regional Sales Leadership counterparts, Product Company Services Leadership & and the Global functional leaders to drive synergies, leverage best practices, diversify solutions in line with customer CTQs
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- 10+ years of experience in a Commercial, Project Management, Services or Product Line role
- Minimum 5 year’s Sales, Commercial or Services experience with Control systems
- Domain Expertise into the Automation & Controls Industry, for the Gas & Steam market segment
- Strong customer-oriented mindset and ability to create relationship across all levels within customer organization.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $128,400.00 and $213,900.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: sales incentive.
