Contract Context
Persistent turnover among Brigade S3 Soldiers, mandatory training absences, and evolving certification demands have created critical staffing gaps. Threat Tec’s Military Operations Analysts will fill these roles, executing functions normally handled by brigade-level officers and senior NCOs in Operations, Training, Standardization, Evaluations, and Certification across five mission areas.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational planning, synchronization, and execution support to the Brigade S3 for USSPACECOM, USSTRATCOM, and USNORTHCOM missions.
  • Develop, refine, and integrate Full-Spectrum Operations METLs and certification event scenarios (e.g., brigade EXEVALs).
  • Write Brigade Weekly and short-suspense task orders; publish operations and fragmentary orders; disseminate and track suspenses and reclamas.
  • Track and report unit readiness via DRRS-S and NetUSR; compile and present briefs, decision papers, and after-action reports for senior leaders.
  • Integrate space capabilities, BMDS assets, and C2 systems into operational plans; support SMDC Standards & Evaluation Program guidance and the 1st Space Brigade Organizational Inspection Program (OIP).
  • Engage with the joint Space Control community on TTPs; plan and resource certification assessments and space range operations.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert during training events, mission rehearsals, exercise working groups, and contingency operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance on Day 1; SCI eligibility required.
  • Operational experience in space support at the brigade level or higher, including certification and evaluation processes.
  • Thorough knowledge of Army training management, FSO METL development, SMDC Standards & Evaluation, and OIP.
  • Demonstrated expertise with DRRS-S, NetUSR, BMDS architecture, and associated C2 systems.
  • Completion of at least one of: Sensor Manager Qualification Course (SMQC)Sensor Manager Leader Development Course (SMLDC)C2BMC Planner’s Course (C2BMC-PC)THAAD Tactician/Technician/Follow-On courses
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Completion of Space 200 and/or IJSTO experience is highly desired.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Military experience in operations analysis or related fields highly desirable.
