At RK Industries, you'll play a key role in supporting complex mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams, you'll help manage procurement, submittals, scheduling, budgeting, project documentation, change orders, and financial performance.

What You'll Do

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical construction projects from kickoff through closeout
  • Manage day-to-day project administration and documentation to support successful project delivery
  • Assist with contract review, processing, execution, and compliance requirements
  • Support project budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting activities
  • Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment to support project schedules and budget goals
  • Assist with subcontractor buyout, negotiations, agreement preparation, and execution
  • Coordinate submittal reviews, approvals, tracking logs, and project documentation requirements
  • Support project scheduling efforts and maintain schedule updates throughout project execution
  • Assist with preparation and management of billing schedules, progress billings, and collections activities
  • Process and track change orders, change requests, and associated project documentation
  • Coordinate labor planning and workforce resource requirements with project leadership
  • Monitor project productivity, costs, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review and process supplier and subcontractor invoices
  • Support preconstruction meetings, turnover meetings, and ongoing project coordination efforts
  • Ensure permits, licenses, and compliance documentation are secured and maintained
  • Coordinate communication between owners, contractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and field teams
  • Help maintain project quality, safety, and performance expectations
  • Assist with project closeout activities and final documentation requirements

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Approximately 7 years of relevant construction, project coordination, or project management experience
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, project administration, and documentation processes
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and cost control
  • Knowledge of mechanical construction project delivery methods and operations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office applications, and construction documentation systems
