About the RoleThe Estimating & Pricing Analyst III is responsible for developing and preparing cost estimates and pricing proposals for new bids, contracts, and project modifications. This role involves collecting data from various sources, performing detailed analyses, and communicating findings effectively. The analyst will interpret technical and programmatic data, utilize research and analysis methods, and ensure that cost estimates and pricing proposals are accurate and competitive. This position requires strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to motivate and influence others.
In this role, you will develop and prepare cost estimates and pricing proposals for new bids, contracts, and project modifications, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. You will collect data from multiple sources, perform detailed analyses, and communicate findings effectively to support informed decision-making. Interpreting technical and programmatic data, you will utilize research and analysis methods to enhance cost estimating and pricing processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will gather necessary information to ensure alignment and precision in cost estimates and pricing proposals. You will prepare and present performance reports to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and maintaining transparency. Additionally, you will maintain knowledge of FAR, FAR Supplements, Cost Accounting Standards, and Government pricing (preferred, not required) to ensure compliance and effective cost management. Utilizing advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas, you will perform data analysis to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement.About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +3 yrs experience).

  • Typically 5+ years of related experience.

  • Intermediate knowledge of financial operations, cost management, estimating, financial planning, or financial analysis.

  • Experience collecting data from several sources, performing analysis, and communicating data.

  • Ability to interpret data of a technical/programmatic nature and utilize research and analysis methods.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/influence others.

  • Experience with cross-functional communication and performance reporting.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

  • Certifications: PMP, CPA, or CFA.

  • Extensive experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

  • Proven track record of successfully developing and preparing cost estimates and pricing proposals.

  • Strong presentation skills and experience presenting to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with advanced project management methodologies and tools.

  • Experience in a leadership role within a finance or estimating team.

  • Knowledge of FAR, FAR Supplements, Cost Accounting Standards, and Government pricing.



Compensation:

Pay Range:

$92,117.00 - $126,660.50

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
