Our client is a fast-growing cannabis cultivator in Denver, Colorado. 

Job Description

Our client is looking for a passionate Marketing Manager to support their rapidly expanding company by developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for their entire organization, as well as nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness, and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy and goals, as well as develop a media relations strategy
  • Direct social media to engage audiences across traditional and new media
  • Create content for press releases
  • Manage and create all posts for social media
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • Previous Cannabis Industry experience
  • Solid experience with social media, including: blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Experience working in a flexible, small to medium sized company without marketing staff on the same level
  • Expert in the internet and social media strategy with a demonstrated track record on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media outlets that are significant in company outreach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High developed, demonstrated teamwork skills
  • Ability to think creatively and innovative
  • Thrives in a start-up environment - adaptable, can handle ambiguity, be flexible
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges within the Cannabis Industry
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills
