As the Marketing Insights & Analytics Director, you will be responsible for measuring and reporting on the success of the marketing organization while leveraging data to inform strategic decisions and optimize operations. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, you will conduct quantitative analyses and integrate multiple data sets to generate actionable insights that inform strategic planning.
In this critical role, you’ll develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track the overall success of the Marketing function. You'll collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations to establish processes for consistently tracking and reporting key marketing metrics and enable smarter decision-making to power growth goals.
What You'll Do
- Data Analysis: Analyze diverse marketing data sets to identify trends, uncover insights, measure ROI, and define metrics that align with priorities. Evaluate correlations and causality between internal metrics and market variables. Provide data-driven recommendations to marketing leadership.
- Insights Reporting & Visualization: Use tools like Salesforce, Marketo, CaliberMind, and Power BI to create and maintain performance dashboards, providing marketing leadership with actionable insights. Support the marketing operations team in establishing regular reporting cadences.
- Goals & Outcomes: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing initiatives, creating insightful dashboards and reports to track progress, identify areas for optimization, and communicate performance to stakeholders.
- Marketing and ADR Activity Tracking: Develop and oversee processes to consolidate and summarize campaign-level metrics globally, aligning them with broader dashboards and reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with demand gen managers, web team, operations, and field marketing teams to track and measure progress against goals. Partner with other Billtrust teams outside of Marketing (e.g., sales operations) to share best practices.
What You'll Bring
- 6+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing operations and/or analytics roles
- Proficiency in data management, statistical analysis, and research techniques
- Deep understanding of B2B marketing principles and strategies across various channels (digital, account-based marketing, etc.)
- Experience with marketing, sales, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Marketo, and Salesforce)
- Experience with other martech platforms including Demandbase, Outreach, and ZoomInfo
- Skilled in translating data into digestible insights and actionable recommendations for senior leadership and internal teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights
- Ability to build structured systems and processes within ambiguous environments, ensuring accessibility and usability of data across teams
- Flexibility and ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
The expected base salary range for this position is $148,000-$166,000 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
