About Us
Nourish is on a mission to improve people’s health by making it easy to eat well. Nutrition-related chronic disease is the largest and most overlooked crisis in the world. Food can be medicine: working with a Registered Dietitian is one of the most effective interventions available, but <1% of eligible Americans use their covered benefits.

Nourish is building an AI-native, patient-friendly healthcare system centered on nutrition that improves outcomes, lowers costs, and helps people live healthier, longer lives. We launched three years ago, are live in all 50 states, and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform.

We are growing quickly, have partnered with national health insurance companies and provider groups, and have raised $115M from top-tier VCs including JP Morgan Growth Equity, Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, Y Combinator, Maverick Ventures, Box Group, Atomico, G Squared, and Pinegrove Venture Partners. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Oscar, Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, and Alto Pharmacy, as well as soccer star Alex Morgan and the founders from Olipop and Notion.

About the Role

We’re looking for a versatile and proactive freelance Marketing Designer to help bring Nourish’s performance creative to life across paid social and other digital touchpoints.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who designs for both conversion and craft. You’ll translate creative briefs into compelling, platform-optimized visuals—from high-performing Meta and TikTok ads to strategic landing page assets. You’ll work closely with creative strategy and growth to continuously iterate based on performance and maintain high design quality at scale.

You should thrive in async workflows, work autonomously with minimal structure, and bring a systems-minded approach to everything you design. If you have a strong visual voice, a clean file setup, and a passion for wellness or healthcare, we’d love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design high-performing static and animated creative for paid social (Meta, TikTok), with the added ability to edit video for cross-format adaptability.
  • Support marketing campaigns with branded banner and landing page assets
  • Execute visual systems across various touchpoints—from UGC adaptations to testimonial graphics
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with strategy, growth, copywriting, and ops in an async workflow
  • Deliver assets that are export-ready with proper formatting, naming conventions, and specs
  • Maintain brand consistency while proposing thoughtful creative variations based on testing
  • Organize working files in Figma with clear hierarchy and versioning logic
  • Support brand or visual system updates and guidelines
We’d love to hear from you if:
  • Mid-level design experience, ideally focused on performance and organic social marketing. Estimated commitment: Minimum 20 hours per week.
  • Portfolio that shows strong visual storytelling, especially across social-first formats
  • Deeply comfortable in Figma; Adobe Creative Suite and light motion a plus
  • Detail-oriented and organized; you care about typography, layout, spacing, and hierarchy
  • You work fast without sacrificing quality and are comfortable iterating based on testing feedback
  • Able to manage your own workload and take initiative—especially in async environments (Slack, Asana, Notion)
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by making progress with limited structure
  • Passionate about improving health outcomes and interested in the wellness or telehealth space
  • Bonus: Experience designing for a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, fintech, pharma)
