- Coordinate conference needs from planning through completion, including swag, booth materials, collateral, promotional items, social media support, shipping, and other event-related logistics.
- Pack, ship, track, and coordinate the return of conference materials, business development requests, collateral, and other marketing assets.
- Maintain accurate inventory and tracking of booth materials and conference assets to minimize loss, damage, and unnecessary replacement costs.
- Manage conference item maintenance, including laundering or dry cleaning booth materials, inventorying returned swag, inspecting equipment, and coordinating repairs or replacement of damaged items.
- Maintain and update Walker’s conference tracking system with event information, attendees, travel costs, booth expenses, sponsorships, registrations, and other data used to evaluate conference investment and performance.
- Conduct post-conference follow-up meetings with Walker attendees to gather feedback on booth performance, messaging, swag, audience response, contacts made, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide real-time support during conferences to help troubleshoot issues, coordinate solutions, and keep events running smoothly.
- Assist with setup, event support, and teardown for select high-priority conferences, which may occasionally require domestic travel.
- Support graphic design and production requests that come through the Corporate Creative team, including formatting and “Walkerizing” documents to align with brand standards.
- Assist with maintaining marketing platforms and resources such as Templafy, OpenAsset, and other internal marketing systems.
- Support creative content development, including photography, video recording, research, social content, and behind-the-scenes webinar logistics.
- Make minor content updates to Walker’s public website and CORE intranet sites.
- Enter, organize, tag, and maintain marketing content and data across marketing platforms and systems.
- Help coordinate company-wide marketing initiatives such as holiday cards, service awards, client gifts, promotional items, and other special programs.
- Assist the Corporate Creative team with evolving priorities and special projects as new requests and opportunities arise.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, Public Relations, or a related field preferred. Equivalent education and relevant experience will also be considered.
- 1+ year of relevant marketing experience.
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to keep track of numerous details, deadlines, assets, and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt quickly when priorities change and confidently re-prioritize work as new requests arise.
- Strong follow-through and a natural inclination to keep information, materials, and processes organized.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, polished work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team while also independently owning assigned responsibilities.
- Comfortable communicating and coordinating with employees across different offices, departments, and levels of the organization.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to find solutions when unexpected issues arise.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, content management systems, digital asset management platforms, social media, photography, video, or marketing technology is a plus.
- Ability to occasionally lift, pack, move, and ship conference or marketing materials.
- Ability to occasionally travel to support conferences and events.
- A positive, flexible approach to working in a fast-moving environment where no two days are exactly the same.
- Graphic design/video editing experience is a plus
At Walker Consultants, we are committed to maintaining fairness and equity in our pay practices. For this role, the estimated base salary range is $60,000 – $70,000 per year. The final salary offered may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law.
