Homebot is a homeownership platform for lenders and real estate, title, and insurance professionals that drives client retention and referrals. We help homeowners build wealth through homeownership while keeping our customers connected to their clients for life.
We need a Market Development Representative to continue to scale our Sales Team and qualify inbound leads. This opportunity offers an entry-level position within a dynamic and fast-paced organization. The role is crafted to help you build the foundational skills not only for your career but to advance within our company as we continue to expand.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Denver office. The team works in office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
What You’ll Be Accountable For
- Lead Qualification: Evaluate and qualify inbound leads to determine their fit and readiness for the sales process. Book a demo or set a meeting depending on outcome.
- Lead Nurturing: Develop and maintain relationships with leads through various communication channels, providing relevant information and resources.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with leads through phone calls, emails, and other channels to understand their needs and educate them on the company's products or services.
- Information Gathering: Gather essential information about leads, such as budget, timeline, and decision-making process, to assist the sales team in the next stages of the sales cycle.
- Collaboration: work closely with Sales & Marketing to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads and refine lead generation and follow-up strategies based on feedback and performance analysis.
- Reporting: Keep detailed records of interactions with leads and provide regular reports on lead qualification and conversion metrics.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques to enhance performance.
- Leveraging and mastering various tools, systems and applications that the broader sales teams use or have access to, including zoom info, salesforce, outreach, sales navigator and other tools that may come into use.

- This role will report to the Manager, SMB Sales
- You will work closely with Sales & Marketing
Your Experience & Qualifications
- 1 - 2 years worth of sales, or related experience converting inbound leads and other related functions
- A quick adopter of new technology. You're comfortable using CRM software and leveraging various prospecting tools such as zoom info, salesforce, linkedin, outreach, nooks and other related applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with leads
- Basic understanding of sales processes and the ability to identify potential opportunities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple leads simultaneously. Speed to lead is mission critical
- A customer-centric mindset with a focus on providing value to leads
- A positive, ‘get it done’ attitude. You're collaborative, gritty, and resourceful
- A solutions creator who takes initiative and proactively adds value
- Confident, adaptable self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Efficiency-focused - you're always looking for new processes and tools to increase efficiency

Compensation & Benefits
Homebot is committed to offering competitive pay and benefits reflective of the Denver market. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including skills, qualifications, and professional experience. In addition to base salary and a company-performance bonus, all full-time employees are eligible to receive Equity Appreciation Rights (stock units) as part of their total compensation package, providing an opportunity to share in Homebot's long-term growth and success.
Compensation
This role has an annual targeted base salary range of $50,000 - $55,000 with variable compensation at a quota of $15,000 (with uncapped commission potential via our comp model). Plus an annual 10% bonus based on company performance.
