Our leadership has helped scale multi-billion-dollar companies including Samsara, Rubrik, and Flexport, and includes industry veterans from Hiscox, The Hartford, and RLI.

  • Build and maintain relationships with agency leadership to align on growth strategies and production targets

  • Design and implement incentive programs that motivate agencies to hit or exceed targets

  • Oversee contract creation, negotiation, and renewal with agencies

  • Ensure agency activities comply with regulatory requirements, coordinating with legal as needed

  • Lead business reviews with agency leadership covering account KPIs, growth initiatives, and premium goal progress

  • Train agents and brokers on underwriting guidelines

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving billing and other operational issues

  • Represent Nirvana at industry conferences, associations, and client meetings

  • Recommend changes to team processes and tactics based on what's working in-market

  • Travel approximately 50% of the time

About you:

  • 8+ years in commercial insurance, with strong preference for commercial auto and/or transportation

  • 8+ years of field sales and/or program marketing experience

  • 2+ years leading a team, with a track record of hiring, coaching, and developing people

  • Comfortable evaluating diverse-scope problems and adapting your approach based on current business conditions

  • Executive presence and strong written/oral communication with customers, peers, and cross-functional partners

  • Track record of exceeding targets

  • Comfortable operating in a high-growth, ambiguous startup environment

  • Existing network among transportation agents/brokers preferred

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and equity

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Work from home friendly
