Key Responsibilities
Order Management Operations
- Oversee regional order management activities from customer document review through order booking and execution in Salesforce.com and SAP
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of customer orders in alignment with Varian policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
- Advise management and cross-functional partners on order-related risks, requirements, and execution considerations
Leadership & People Management
- Perform all required management responsibilities, including implementing company policies, programs, and guidelines
- Ensure employee productivity, engagement, and professional growth through coaching, feedback, and development planning
- Actively develop young talent and build a sustainable pipeline of future capabilities within the organization
Process, Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance order accuracy, efficiency, and customer experience
- Partner with global and regional teams on system enhancements, automation, and reporting improvements
- Provide clear, data-driven insights to regional and global stakeholders to support decision-making
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and applicable trade, pricing, and contractual policies
- Support internal and external audits and remediation activities related to order management processes
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge
- Ability, competence, and confidence to lead people in a regional, matrixed environment
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Sound understanding of order-to-cash processes and accounting principles
- Proficiency with business tools including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Hands-on experience with SAP and Salesforce.com or equivalent ERP / CRM systems
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and quality
Typical Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Finance, International Trade, or a related field
- 8+ years of related experience in order management, sales operations, supply chain management, customer operations, or similar
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Regional role supporting ASEAN, Korea, and Australia
- Requires close collaboration across functions and geographies
- Occasional travel may be required
