The RMP Promise

Rocky Mountain Prep is a movement of educators, families, scholars, and advocates committed to changing public education in Colorado by democratizing college access for historically marginalized students and families. We operate twelve college-preparatory schools serving students from early childhood through twelfth grade, and we are fundamentally a world-class learning organization that invests deeply in every educator who joins us. Teachers engage in ongoing coaching and professional development, supported by clear expectations, transparent feedback, and opportunities to strengthen their craft and advance along individualized career pathways grounded in our PEAK values. Rooted in a culture of rigor and love, RMP promises to coach, develop, and champion every team member so they can do their best work and grow as professionals, people, and leaders.

About the Role

The Manager, Governance and Strategic Operations is the operational engine behind RMP’s Board of Directors and the network’s highest-visibility executive and cross-functional moments. This role owns the creation of Board meeting materials and the logistics that make Board, executive team, and network-wide events run flawlessly — from a committee meeting packet to Senior Signing Day. Reporting to the Managing Director, Strategic Projects & Operations, with a dotted line to the Chief of Strategy & Org Effectiveness for Board-specific work, this person is the reliable, detail-obsessed partner who makes sure materials are accurate and on time, logistics are handled with precision, and nothing that touches RMP’s Board or senior leadership falls through the cracks. This role requires exceptional discretion — Board and executive materials are often confidential and time-sensitive — paired with the warmth and professionalism to represent RMP well with Board members, external partners, and every team across the network.

The Manager, Governance and Strategic Operations also plays a key role in ensuring all of RMP’s signature network events are executed with excellence, joy and strategic impact. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and follow through.

This is a Denver-based role with regular attendance at Board meetings, committee meetings, and major network events, including some evenings.
