Position Summary

As a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for financial forecasting and analysis within the Medicare Pharmacy segment. This role will require strong time management, organization, and communication skills along with strong attention to details and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. This position allows you to work cross-functionally with actuarial, underwriting, accounting, finance, sales, and performance management teams to collaborate on building and maintaining forecast models, assumptions, and to understand the business. You will have visibility into PBM fees, selling expenses, and other administrative costs, allowing for full Operating Expense P&L ownership.

Activities that this role will oversee include:

  • Building and maintaining forecast and budget models for SG&A

  • Developing and communicating financial projection assumptions

  • Creating effective reporting to support leadership reviews during quarterly projection cycles

  • Analyzing drivers of variances to forecasts and budgets

  • Enhancing processes to incorporate additional financial detail in order to better support the Medicare business

  • Assisting with NBE reporting during Bid season

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of financial planning & analysis experience with deep understanding of financial management.

  • Ability to travel up to 5%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medicare or Pharmacy experience preferred.

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage time effectively amid competing priorities.

  • Experience with Hyperion financial planning system.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Education

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent years of related experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
