As Manager of Agency Partnerships, you will work as part of North American B2B Sales, a specialized unit within Hagerty. In this role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of key Hagerty insurance partners to unlock relationship depth and breadth. You will identify additional available market growth potential for Hagerty with an emphasis on the creation and expansion of relationships leading to revenue growth. The targets will include, but not limited to, insurance carriers, independent agents and brokerage firms or insurance companies. This work includes driving expansion and penetration of assigned relationships across Hagerty and partner firms (“laddering”).

What you’ll do- Build and execute business plans and strategic initiatives to achieve growth goals for written premium, new business written premium, new business count, and retention.
- Work with Product and Pricing teams to align product development and loss ratio goals
- Have a vast understanding of partner contract obligations.
- Work with supervisor and team members across the company to craft and execute formalized relationship management approach (including relationship laddering strategy) across all assigned accounts.
- Implement sales and relationship management best practices on assigned accounts.
- Have a thorough understanding of different distribution channels and opportunities within the partnership and provide meaningful insights on how Hagerty can effectively work with assigned portfolio partners.
- Have a superior understanding of assigned partners’ structure, strategic initiatives, growth strategies, culture, and key contacts, aligning Hagerty’s engagement where applicable.
- Facilitate bi-lateral one-on-one and team meetings, across Hagerty’s regional and corporate orgs, as appropriate.
- Have a solid understanding of the enterprise underwriting guidelines.
- Network externally to build and maintain relationships with key partners and industry centers of influence.
- Collaborate with product leaders to align on a go-to-market strategy for all products Hagerty offers.
- Conduct joint field visits and participate in agency conferences, Hagerty Drivers Club events, and other hobby or partner-related events.
- Excel at developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership and partners, relaying Hagerty’s value proposition.
- Develop and manage assigned operational and promotional budgets.
- Attend and report on quarterly earnings calls.
- Deliver monthly reports and insights to Partners.
Qualifications
- Ability to travel 50% of the time for conferences, events, leadership summits, and joint field travel.
- Experience in the insurance industry.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

- Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations. Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.
