Field Representative I, Fulfillment

$18.22 - $22.96 per hour

Provides operations functions in a fulfillment center for one or more of the following areas: operates high volume printing equipment (segment 5) to produce large volume print jobs on a previously calibrated machine, performs associated copying tasks, ships and receives product and supplies, sorts, distributes and handles incoming and outgoing mail/faxes, as well as applies necessary postage. Provides copier maintenance and/or repair of customer site equipment. May also perform bindery, QC and final check, housekeeping, file services, call center representative, and TZ Locker utilization, etc. May performs various building support functions related to conference room set ups and light maintenance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate high-volume printing equipment in a production print environment, including binding and finishing work.
  • Set up and run all applications across assigned equipment.
  • Ensure convenience copiers are functioning properly through daily quality inspections; clear paper jams and escalate technical issues as needed.
  • Perform repair and maintenance services on customer copier equipment.
  • Maintain records, management reports, and inventories of supplies.
  • Distribute office supplies, fax transmissions, and mail to employees and designated locations.
  • Calculate charges for completed jobs and maintain billing logs.
  • Respond to and coordinate customer service requests and service calls.
  • Perform filing duties based on customer requirements.
  • Deliver completed work to designated customer locations on and off site.
  • Maintain daily meter readings and service logs.
  • Travel between customer buildings as needed.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding job status, timelines, and feasibility.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked copier and print areas.
  • Perform shipping and receiving functions, including processing incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Assist with meeting and conference room setup.
  • Support office and workspace moves within assigned facilities.
  • Perform basic building maintenance tasks, including re-lamping, as assigned.
  • Complete occasional cleaning duties as needed.
  • Work periodic overtime, including evenings, weekends, and emergency response situations when required.
  • Utilize equipment such as shrink-wrap machines, paper cutters, hole drills, bindery equipment, joggers, tape machines, stackers, electric staplers, and scales.
  • Operate copier equipment, calculators, fax machines, postage meters, and personal computers.
  • Manage document filing, archiving, and records retention activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years of related work experience preferred.
  • Experience in copy/print services, ideally within a high-volume production print environment, preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and required minimum auto insurance coverage per company policy.
  • Ability to learn and operate complex production, communication, and client-specific systems and applications.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of copiers, printing equipment, and basic equipment repair preferred.
  • Understanding of shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Basic electronics knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to select appropriate packaging materials and verify packing slip accuracy.
  • Ability to understand and follow mail delivery procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, parts books, and related documentation.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands
  • Frequent exposure to copier and fax machine noise, toner, varying temperatures, and potential paper-cut hazards.
  • Exposure to weather conditions when traveling between buildings and to equipment-related workplace hazards.
  • Daily interaction with customers, employees, managers, and dispatch personnel, with occasional interaction with vendors and service technicians.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, and climbing.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push or pull equipment weighing up to 400 pounds on wheels for repair or relocation purposes.
  • Walking between buildings may be required.
