Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Logistics Specialist providing logistics planning and sustainment support for transport and communications systems supporting SD-85 operational and modernization efforts.
Position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO.
**This position is contingent upon funding**
Responsibilities- Support lifecycle sustainment planning and logistics coordination.
- Assist with supply chain, asset tracking, and inventory management activities.
- Develop logistics documentation, sustainment plans, and maintenance strategies.
- Coordinate equipment deliveries, installations, and fielding support.
- Support configuration management and property accountability processes.
- Assist with transportation planning and operational logistics coordination.
- Support readiness reporting and sustainment assessments.
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: A minimum of a secret clearance at time of applicaiton required. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
Years of Experience: 5+ years of logistics or sustainment experience.
Additional Experience:
- Experience supporting DoD programs or operational environments.
- Familiarity with lifecycle logistics principles.
- Experience with logistics databases and reporting systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting space, SATCOM, or communications programs.
- DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics certification preferred.
- Familiarity with integrated logistics support (ILS) and sustainment planning.
- Experience supporting classified or operational environments.
