This is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a Local SEO & AI Presence Specialist to execute and maintain high-quality local search strategies across multiple client accounts. They are an established digital marketing agency recognized for sustained growth, award-winning client work, and leadership within the marketing technology ecosystem.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused position for someone who enjoys managing the details behind strong local visibility. The specialist will work closely with Account Managers to collect client assets and business updates, maintain accurate information across digital platforms, publish localized content, and strengthen visibility across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven discovery experiences.

The role also includes limited client-facing responsibilities, such as participating in quarterly discovery conversations to gather insights and improve content alignment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, maintain, and optimize Google Business Profiles across multiple client accounts.

  • Publish localized Google Business Profile posts, updates, promotions, and other relevant content.

  • Monitor profile activity, including questions and answers, photos, business information, and performance insights.

  • Maintain accurate NAP information, including business name, address, phone number, services, and other important listing details.

  • Update client websites with location-specific and service-focused content.

  • Use AI-powered tools to assist in producing useful hyperlocal blog content addressing specific consumer questions and search intent.

  • Optimize website content for local search intent and follow structured data best practices.

  • Implement backend and technical SEO improvements based on the capabilities of each client's website platform.

  • Publish localized content across Facebook and Instagram to strengthen local engagement signals.

  • Develop engagement-oriented content that supports visibility, relevance, and digital trust.

  • Maintain consistent brand messaging across websites, social channels, listings, and other digital touchpoints.

  • Support review-generation initiatives across approved platforms.

  • Monitor incoming customer reviews and escalate noteworthy feedback when appropriate.

  • Help maintain consistent review responses and strong online ratings.

  • Support online reputation initiatives designed to improve trust and conversion.

  • Maintain accurate business information across major directories and discovery platforms such as Apple Maps, Yelp, Bing, and similar networks.

  • Identify and correct inconsistent or outdated business listings.

  • Maintain data consistency across digital platforms to strengthen signals used by search engines and AI-powered discovery systems.

  • Collaborate with Account Managers to gather photos, promotions, project information, business updates, and other client-specific assets.

  • Participate in quarterly client discovery calls to gather relevant information and improve local content execution.



Requirements
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience executing Local SEO strategies.

  • Practical experience managing and optimizing Google Business Profiles.

  • Experience creating, publishing, and optimizing digital content.

  • Knowledge of local search optimization and local search intent.

  • Experience supporting online review generation and reputation management.

  • Understanding of local citations and business listing consistency.

  • Familiarity with AI tools for content development and optimization.

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing business information across multiple platforms.

  • Ability to organize and execute tasks across several client accounts simultaneously.

  • Ability to work independently in an execution-heavy environment while collaborating effectively with Account Managers.

  • Comfortable participating in occasional client-facing conversations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate combines practical Local SEO knowledge with strong execution and organization. They should understand how websites, Google Business Profiles, reviews, citations, social signals, and localized content work together to influence local visibility.

Experience working in an agency or multi-client environment is highly valuable because the position requires maintaining accuracy and consistency while handling several accounts and recurring deliverables.
