We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Intern to join our New York-based Legal Team for a 9-week Paid Internship Program. This is a unique opportunity for a 1L law student to gain hands-on experience in corporate, securities, and capital markets law. The intern will work closely with the Legal Department, supporting various functions such as policy research, corporate governance, contract review, and regulatory matters involving SEC and FINRA regulations.
- Program Dates: June 1, 2026 - July 31, 2026
- Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
- Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Throughout the program, the intern will gain a comprehensive understanding of corporate law, securities regulations, and legal operations in a financial services environment. You will have the opportunity to present your key learnings and contributions to the company at the conclusion of the internship. What You’ll Do:
- Assist with legal research and policy analysis related to corporate law, securities, and capital markets.
- Support contract review and corporate governance tasks.
- Contribute to regulatory projects involving SEC and FINRA regulations.
- Work closely with the Deputy General Counsel and other legal team members on day-to-day tasks.
- Assist with drafting legal documents, memos, and reports.
- Provide general support to the Legal team on various initiatives.
- Additional responsibilities, as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be enrolled in ABA Accredited Law School.
- Strong academic credentials, with a demonstrated interest in securities, finance, and corporate law.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a desire to learn and contribute.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
