About the Role:
The Lead Talent Growth & Performance Partner is a senior member of the Talent Growth & Performance Team who partners closely with the Manager of Talent Development to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, consistent training delivery, and alignment with business priorities. This role does not include direct people management but serves as a mentor, coach, and operational leader for peers, driving best practices, consistency, and continuous improvement across the training function.
What You’ll Do:
Operational Leadership & Coordination
- Manage, maintain, and review the training calendar to ensure coverage across all training sessions.
- Oversee training logistics, including room reservations, AV setup, materials prep, and supply inventory.
- Serve as the point of contact for key operational issues: Day 1 no-shows, payroll emails, attendance issues, dropouts, training escalations, and system access needs.
- Maintain team documents, trackers, surveys, and reporting tools (e.g., Training Tracker, End of Training Surveys, Leadership Recaps, Quarterly Business Review WIPs).
- Partner with IT, Facilities, HR, and Lines of Business to proactively address operational issues and ensure smooth onboarding.
Mentorship & Team Development
- Act as a coach and mentor to trainers, sharing best practices, modeling consistency, and supporting professional growth.
- Lead onboarding for new trainers, ensuring seamless integration into the team.
Provide peer review of End-of-Training Leadership Recaps and other key deliverables before stakeholder distribution.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Attend Line of Business planning meetings to forecast training needs and align on cadence based on anticipated headcount.
- Partner with product owners post-training to review outcomes, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain training frameworks and best practices to standardize and elevate training quality across all products.
- Proactively monitor team performance and stakeholder communications for consistency and adherence.
- Lead immediate problem-solving during training sessions (e.g., class disruptions, conflicts, knowledge check failures).
- Drive process improvement initiatives and create clear escalation guides in partnership with HRBPs (e.g., attendance, behavior, performance issues).
Reporting & Demonstrating Value
- Design and deliver reporting that highlights training participation, engagement, and business impact.
- Provide executive-ready summaries and recommendations to leadership.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of facilitation and/or training experience.
- 3+ years in a senior training, instructional design, or training operations role.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to mentor peers.
- Demonstrated project management and process improvement experience.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and deliver business-aligned outcomes.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and serving as a trusted partner to leadership.
