What You Will Do
As a Learner, Accounts Receivable, you will support the day-to-day accounting operations of our growing organization, with a focus on accounts receivable, revenue, and trade spend. In this role, you will manage invoicing for wholesale and e-commerce customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer pricing and discount agreements. You will also handle payment processing, credit memo entries, and timely cash application, while contributing to process improvement initiatives and month-end close activities. Along the way, you will learn how to analyze key revenue & trade spend metrics, interpret variances, and provide data-driven insights that help business leaders understand performance.
Responsibilities
- AR Support
- Invoicing of all wholesale & e-commerce customers. Validating appropriate pricing and allowances have been taken.
- Record and apply cash & credit memos as received in our cash application platform.
- Escalate past due AR balances to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide weekly AR Aging reporting to Accounting & Finance leadership.
- Trade/Deduction Management
- Source and organize relevant documentation for AR function to support deduction disputes workflow.
- Prepare weekly AR-Deductions reconciliations, identifying and resolving variances between our ERP & TPM platforms.
- Ad-Hoc/Month-End Responsibilities
- Support the Revenue Accountant in reconciling all customer invoices against shipping data. Identify variances and recommend adjustments.
- Support Trade Accountant in accrual schedule roll-forward and Journal Entry preparation.
- Perform Ad-Hoc projects & analysis as required.
Who You Are
- At least a Junior standing while currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field, or recently graduated.
- Conceptual understanding of GAAP principles.
- Comfortable working with numbers and data in Excel.
- Interested in the CPG industry, with a focus on revenue & trade accounting.
- Able to work both independently and in a team-setting, with good communication skills.
- Organized and reliable, you can manage multiple tasks and stay on top of deadlines.
- Curious, detail‑oriented, and not afraid to ask questions or dig deeper to understand the “why.”

Pay Range Opportunity:
- The pay range for this role is $20 - $25 per hour
- Weekly hours required: 20 - 28 hours
- This is a part-time 6 month temporary, non-exempt position with potential opportunity for extension and/or to turn into full-time opportunity based on business needs
