What You Will Do
As a Learner, Accounts Payable, you will support the day-to-day accounting operations of our growing organization, with a focus on accounts payable. In this role, you will assist with corporate credit card coding, employee expense reimbursement processing, and Accounts Payable invoice entry; ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and budget coding . You will also assist with maintaining the accounting inbox, while contributing to process improvement initiatives and month-end close activities.
Responsibilities
- Corporate Credit Cards
- Review and code corporate credit card transactions ensuring accuracy and policy adherence.
- Export transactions into NetSuite via CSV files.
- Escalate issues including incorrect coding, missing receipts, or policy violations to AP Associate.
- Provide weekly credit card transaction reporting to AP Associate.
- Expense Reimbursements
- Review and code employee expense reimbursements reports in Tipalti ensuring accuracy and policy adherence.
- Escalate issues including incorrect coding, missing receipts, or policy violations to AP Associate.
- AP Invoice Processing
- Responsible for accurately processing vendor invoices in Tipalti, ensuring proper coding, account allocation, and data entry.
- Reviews invoices for completeness and accuracy, validates supporting documentation, and follows established procedures to maintain compliance with company policies.
- Collaborates with team members to resolve discrepancies.
- Ad-Hoc/Month-End Responsibilities
- Support AP function by daily email dispatching in the Accounting Inbox.
- Support AP Associate in month-end close activities, including Accrual Rec Maintenance and weekly Exception report reviews.
- Perform Ad-Hoc projects & analysis as required.
Who You Are
- At least a Junior standing while currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field, or recently graduated.
- Conceptual understanding of GAAP principles.
- Comfortable working with numbers and data in Excel.
- Interested in the CPG industry, with a focus on transactional data and accounting.
- Able to work both independently and in a team-setting, with good communication skills.
- Organized and reliable, you can manage multiple tasks and stay on top of deadlines.
- Curious, detail oriented, and not afraid to ask questions or dig deeper to understand the “why.”

Pay Range Opportunity:
- The pay range for this role is $20 - $25 per hour
- Weekly hours required: 20 - 28 hours
- This is a part-time 6 month temporary, non-exempt position with potential opportunity for extension and/or to turn into full-time opportunity based on business needs

- Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company
