Leverage strategic vision to lead the region through lean transformation, operationalizing the GE HealthCare Heartbeat (business operating system), emphasizing the importance of leveraging Lean principles through our culture.
Provide overall Lean leadership and coaching; partner with Zone leadership to develop lean strategy and priorities, connecting to the International and Global lean frameworks.
Identify & support key lean projects across the Zone, in partnership with our Commercial Leadership team. Project manage initiatives through to outcome, analyzing data to monitor success.
Train and teach colleagues the culture of continuous improvement and upskill our Leadership team on Lean principles. Develop strategies to upskill our Aquila organisation in this domain.
Initiate sustainable process improvements to exceed customer expectations using lean strategies, driving measurable results and business performance improvement
Develop schedules and facilitate kaizen, value stream mapping sessions, and activities to achieve business results. Lead problem solving, including 5 whys, fishbone, PSR etc.
Be ambassadors for culture change, through creating meaning, purpose and demonstrating value whilst energizing colleagues on the Lean journey.
Create and maintain effective and relevant dashboards and daily management boards in a PowerBI environment; drive for automation and reducing manual work.
Lead change management efforts through culture and project management.
Experience of incorporating AI as part of transformation activities is also preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree with significant experience operating with lean principles. Proficiency in reporting and the use of MS Office (PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint), Smartsheet, or similar tools.
Lean Background: Strong Lean background and familiarity with Lean methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing Lean principles to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Data Analysis: Ability to envisage and design impactful daily management boards to drive actions.
Stakeholder Management/Communication: A dynamic leader who can influence key stakeholders, provide leadership direction, maintain open communication channels, and create feedback loops for improvement.
Strategic Insight: The ideal candidate will have experience driving transformation and lean maturity by advancing strategic initiatives, promoting a Lean mindset, and building leadership capabilities. They will be committed to process improvement and developing capabilities within the organisation. They will bring commercial experience to enable this.
Inspire & Influence: This person leads through interpersonal influence, has a high degree of humility and displays leadership that inspires and energizes the organization. The candidate will cultivate peer relationships to influence them to drive the adoption of the business system, with strong coaching, negotiation, and listening skills. A change agent with influencing skills.
