Lead IT Telecom Architect will design, build, and optimize complex Telecommunications and Contact Center architecture to meet business goals, ensuring scalability, security, and performance by translating needs into technical designs, selecting tech, overseeing deployment, documenting systems, and staying current with new trends. This position will bridge business needs and technology, collaborating with engineers, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver robust, efficient Telecommunications and Contact Center architecture solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Strategy: Develop overall telecommunications and Contact Center architecture, blueprints, and future roadmaps for Voice, SMS, Chat, and AI.
- Requirements Analysis: Translate business objectives and technical needs into actionable designs.
- Technology Evaluation: Research and select appropriate hardware, software (VoIP, UCaaS, CCaaS), and cloud services.
- Implementation Oversight: Guide and supervise the deployment, integration, and testing of new systems and upgrades.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed network diagrams, operational instructions, and configuration details.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with management, engineering, and vendors to align solutions with goals.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify and resolve complex telecommunications and Contact Center issues, continuously improving efficiency and reliability.
Typical Day-to-Day
- Analyzing business needs and existing systems.
- Creating architecture diagrams and technical specs.
- Meeting with teams to present solutions.
- Overseeing implementation & troubleshooting.
- Researching new technology.
- Drive detailed and evolutionary designs and architectures of complex solutions involving at least two of the following domains within a solution: Application, Infrastructure, Security, Database or Business Process.
- Lead the definition and communication of IT architecture and solutions for IT Leaders and development teams.
- Mindful of the Healthcare Industry and Digital Health trends.
- Other duties as assigned.
Other Job Requirements

4+ years related experience including a minimum of 2+ years designing, building and deploying software in IT.Expert in modern technologies and languages, development patterns, data modeling, cloud/PaaS and application integration technologies.
