As a Strategic Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Motive’s key insurance partnerships. You will own the day-to-day management of these relationships, responsible for their success, satisfaction, and revenue growth. You’ll also help design and implement operational processes supporting partner growth across marketing, data sharing, and billing. You’re a creative problem solver that enjoys getting into the details and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
This is a high-impact role on a priority team, requiring a blend of strategic account management, operational excellence, and a passion for risk management (and maybe technology).
What You'll Do:Strategic Account Management: Own the end-to-end relationship for a portfolio of insurance partners with responsibility for partner health and growth. Develops biannual account plans for the largest partners including revenue forecasting, marketing calendars, and opportunity roadmaps for product enhancements adding mutual value.
Define and Own Operations: Run the operational architecture governing partner needs, including sales enablement, partner onboarding, API access, billing, etc. Define and launch process improvements for recurring friction points across your partner set.
Champion Your Partners: Serve as the central point of contact for your partners, providing exceptional project management across internal teams including Marketing, Sales, Billing, Analytics, etc. You’ll deeply understand your partners’ needs and translate their business challenges and requirements into feedback for internal teams.
Represent the Partnership: Plan and lead high-impact, on-site meetings with partner leadership, strengthening relationships beyond standard operations. Launch external trainings that demonstrate Motive’s value to captive members or highlight specific features of our analytics platform. Capable of representing Motive at industry conferences and partner summits.
6-10 years of experience in strategic account management, partnership management, or business development in a fast-paced environment within the insurance industry.
Proven track record of managing complex, enterprise-level relationships and driving revenue growth within a defined book of business.
Exceptional project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from day-to-day contacts to executive leadership.
Deep knowledge of the insurance industry, telematics, or related topics.
Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
