Lead Generation Associate, Franchise Development

Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Lead Generation Associate in the Franchise Development Operations Department. This team is responsible for growing our hotel portfolio by bringing our brands to the developer marketplace and finding the right projects in the right markets. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our franchise network by identifying and sourcing high-probability leads.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prospecting: Utilize our in-house cutting-edge technology as well as our prospecting subscriptions to identify viable prospects for franchise development opportunities.

  • Contacting Prospects: Reach out to viable prospects using a scripted cold calling approach to understand their needs, challenges, and overall interest in franchising with Choice Hotels.

  • Qualify & Manage: Qualify and score leads to create a prioritized lead list for the Sales team. Manage all leads in Salesforce, updating with notes and relevant information gathered during the cold calling phase.

  • Transition Lead: Transition qualified leads to the Sales team in Salesforce, ensuring clear communication of client intentions, needs, and notes/call history to improve the Regional Vice Presidents' ability to convert leads into franchise agreements.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • High school diploma required.

  • Must have technical proficiency with complex online databases.

  • CRM management experience (Salesforce preferred).

  • Ability to think analytically about how to prioritize (score) leads.

  • Understanding of sales process.

  • Demonstrates key competencies to include strong communication skills (verbal, written, & listening ability), time management, prioritization, and organization skills, as well as persistence and resiliency.

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director, Development Enablement & Lead Generation. You will have a peer teammate and collaborate with cross-functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our Lead Generation Associate, you will be a remote-based associate, working from your home office. You will be required to connect virtually with Choice team members and leadership on video via Zoom, with possible periodic travel in-person to our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide offices in North Bethesda, MD, Scottsdale, AZ, or St. Louis Park, MN. #LI-Remote

Salary Range

 
The salary range for this position is $64,494 - $75,779 annually, plus commission via participation in Choice’s Sales Incentive Plan.

Field/Remote — Select roles designated as field/remote will require associates to work from a home office, connecting virtually with Choice team members and leadership on Zoom, with possible required travel depending on the role.
