The Lead Data Product Manager will work within the Integrate Business Advancement Data & Analytics team. The team is focused on converting data to actionable insights for our business partners across the enterprise who can utilize the same, to improve the customer’s experience while reducing administrative costs.
The Lead Data Product Manager is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to identify data needs by leveraging the data flow throughout an entire product lifecycle and documenting the data requirements for each new capability, functionality, or product. This individual works as a liaison and manages data features between the solution and product teams.
In this role, you will have an opportunity to influence the design and development of a solution to provide data sets that improve the quality and insights to business partners.
The Lead Data Product Manager leads all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace, by developing products to meet specific customer needs and achieve specific cost and success outcomes. Once products are launched, monitors efficacy of products and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs across each customer segmentation, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

- Define problem statements, features, value, benefit hypothesis, dependencies, risks, and identify teams needed to deliver work
- Prioritize features spanning across all technical delivery teams supporting data
- Ensure product owners have clear understanding of objectives, strategy, and success criteria
- Translate the business needs to data requirements
- Consult in capability development
- Model and encourage Agile behaviors within the team
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Experience in performing in-depth data analysis to derive insights that drives business outcomes and decisions
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Use independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action
Expected Outputs:
- Product roadmap: 12-month plan per product
- Product requirements: What features, why and for whom
- Product success metrics: Usage, business outcomes, etc.
- Stakeholder alignment: Own relationship at the Associate Director and Lead level across business, upstream product, and IT stakeholder groups
- Backlog prioritization: What’s next in sprint, next quarter, and remainder of year
- Business case: Assist with development of cost benefit analysis for future investment ideas

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of product manager experience
- 2+ years of project leadership experience
- SAFe Agile POPM certification
- Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms
- Working knowledge of Jira Align (JA) Azure Dev Ops (ADO)
- Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing is a plus
- Familiarity with the healthcare insurance industry
- Previous experience with Genesys or other consumer experience equivalent platforms a plus
- Experience producing metrics, measurements, trend reports, problem analysis and process improvement
