Position Overview

The Lead Commercial Market Access Manager plays a pivotal role in executing commercial strategies to close colorectal cancer (CRC) screening gaps. This position supports the Director in driving employer-sponsored initiatives, collaborating with consultants, brokers, payers, and wellness teams to increase screening rates and improve health outcomes. The Lead will spearhead regional program execution, develop employer relationships, and ensure alignment with strategic goals to promote Cologuard® as a preferred screening solution.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Sales Results: Contribute to and achieve the Gap Closure Team’s annual revenue goals.
  • Program Execution: Implement CRC screening gap closure programs across assigned regions, coordinating with brokers, consultants, and health plans’ wellness and quality teams including ACM’s, LBM’s, TPA’s and other relevant entities to drive adherence and maximize impact.
  • Employer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with brokers, payers, and employer groups to activate screening initiatives aligned with benefit plans.
  • Strategic Support: Assist in developing and delivering tailored value propositions that highlight the benefits of CRC screening for employers, including cost savings, reduced absenteeism, and improved employee health.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless program delivery and alignment with broader market access goals.
  • Contracting Support: Facilitate completion of contracts, statements of work, and legal documentation in collaboration with the Director and legal teams.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
  • Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or relevant field; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 YOE or Associates Degree and 2 YOE in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 7-8 years of proven experience and success in healthcare sales, employer wellness engagement, or market access.
  • Strong understanding of commercial broker and payer dynamics and employer-sponsored health programs.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration, working effectively with marketing, operations, legal, and clinical teams to drive program outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results in a remote environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Salary Range:

$159,000.00 - $239,000.00

 

The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible.
