Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant in Wells Fargo Auto as part of Wells Fargo Consumer Lending group.  This role will specifically support risk management within the Auto Product Development area, leading work to bring ineffective controls to meeting the standards of effectiveness.  Activities include: supporting annual RCSA refresh, monthly monitoring, improving /automating controls, and remediating gaps identified. In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute remediation and enhancement initiatives
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Within assigned initiatives, drive designs that limit risk exposure and create efficiencies (as appropriate)
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Regulated Industries – including financial services, healthcare, or insurance
  • Ability to identify risk factors and ensure enactment of appropriate controls
  • Experience identifying, managing, remediating risks
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques
  • Ability to identify and evaluate trends, isolate root cause, and provide swift/thorough resolution
  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
  • Ability to develop and negotiate solutions to issues with partners or clients including escalations as needed 
  • Ability to track and monitor project progress, identify project and process gaps, recommend controls and communicate progress to business leaders

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
