What you will do

What you will do

As a Key Account Manager FMCG you will be responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with key retail partners. The role focuses on driving joint profitable growth, ensuring flawless execution of joint business plans, and maximizing market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with our key customer.
  • Negotiate trade terms, promotional plans, and pricing strategies to deliver sales and profitability targets.
  • Continuously monitor sales progress, identify gaps, implement corrective actions, and resolve routine customer issues and complaints promptly, to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Analyze sales results against forecasts and proactively adjust business plans using data-driven insights to anticipate client needs and market shifts.
  • Prepare comprehensive and periodic sales reports and present detailed analyses to senior management.
  • Build strong, long-term partnerships with decision-makers at key retailers.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all commercial discussions.
  • Leverage category data and shopper insights to identify growth opportunities with your customers.
  • Collaborate with Brand activation manager to implement tailored solutions for in-store and online execution.
  • Track promotional ROI and optimize investment.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to ensure operational excellence.
  • Align with internal stakeholders on pricing, product launches, and strategic initiatives.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in Key Account Management
  • Customer relationship management and business development skills
  • Strong Financial knowledge
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working within FMCG
  • Analytical and data-led approach to monitoring and track business performance.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline.
  • Strong analytical mindset paired with creative problem-solving abilities to develop innovative client solutions
  • Excellent customer-centric approach with superior relationship-building and solution-selling skills
  • Competence in budget planning and expense management to ensure financial discipline
  • Experience in sales enablement strategies and strategic sales planning to drive revenue growth
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills tailored for diverse stakeholder engagement
  • Results-driven, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt to dynamic business environments
