REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to qualify and maintain security clearance
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Backend Python Developer with a solid understanding of professional business environments
  • Friendly and composed when interacting with clients and colleagues
  • Professional demeanor and conduct
  • Punctual, responsible, and reliable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and email correspondence

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain backend REST APIs using Python and the Flask framework
  • Implement real-time communication features with Python and SocketIO
  • Work with graph databases, efficiently retrieving and manipulating data using graph query languages such as Cypher, Gremlin, GraphQL, and AQL
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers to integrate backend APIs and services
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable Python code
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
  • Troubleshoot and debug backend issues promptly and effectively
  • Learn and apply best practices in backend development, security, and performance
  • Work effectively within an agile development environment
  • Assist in designing and implementing database schemas and data models
  • Stay current with the latest backend development trends and technologies
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools
