The Role
Cogniify is hiring a Java Full Stack Developer to build and improve web applications used in real business workflows. This is primarily a Java development role. We are also looking for someone who has explored basic AI integrations, or is interested in adding AI features to applications.
What You Will Do
Build and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop user interfaces using React or Angular.
Create REST APIs and work with SQL databases.
Write clean, tested code and take features from development through deployment.
Work with the team to troubleshoot issues and improve application performance.
Support simple AI features, such as connecting an application to an LLM API or adding an AI assistant to an existing workflow.
What We Are Looking For
2 - 4 years of hands-on Java full stack development experience.
Strong Java and Spring Boot skills, with experience building REST APIs.
Experience with React or Angular, JavaScript or TypeScript, and HTML/CSS.
Good working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with Git, testing and CI/CD practices.
Basic exposure to AI APIs, prompt engineering or AI-enabled application features. You do not need to be an AI specialist.
