It is a collaborative, high-trust team where you will own real work early, have direct access to leadership, and see the impact of what you do across the entire company.

Elements Core Values:

we before me | stay curious | know your impact | bring it | own your craft | enjoy the ride

About the role:

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be on the front line of technology support across Elements, helping keep our people and systems running smoothly. You will manage the day-to-day helpdesk queue, troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and access issues, and serve as the first responder to incoming security alerts. It is a high-visibility role with real ownership: the people you support are designing, selling, and delivering our projects, and how quickly and effectively you get them back to work has a direct impact on their day.

You will work alongside experienced IT professionals who are invested in helping you grow while gaining hands-on exposure to a wide range of technology beyond a typical helpdesk role, from cloud identity and security to business systems and AV. Through training, mentoring, and hands-on experience, you will have opportunities to expand your skills and grow your responsibilities over time.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the day-to-day helpdesk queue from intake and prioritization through resolution, diagnosing hardware, software, network, and access issues and escalating with clear context when an issue requires additional support.
  • Serve as the first responder to incoming security alerts, resolving issues where possible and escalating those that require deeper investigation.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding end to end, including device builds and imaging, account provisioning and deprovisioning, application access, software installation, and license assignment.
  • Deliver IT orientation for new hires and ongoing training and support for teams and individuals across the company.
  • Provide first-tier support and day-to-day administration across Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365, including user and group management, password and account support, licenses, shared mailboxes, Teams, file permissions, and access requests.
  • Maintain accurate asset records for laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, and conference room equipment, and manage the laptop refresh cycle.
  • Support conference room and event technology across roughly 20 rooms, including AV setup for client visits, tours, executive sessions, and company events.
  • Support company technology projects and broader IT initiatives, including device rollouts, workspace and showroom technology upgrades, infrastructure, security, AV, AI, and onboarding for teams joining Elements.
  • Document IT procedures and build self-service resources to make information easy to find and help resolve recurring issues at the source.

Requirements

Who you are:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a related role, with strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, network, and access issues.
  • Hands-on experience supporting both Windows and macOS in a business environment.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 administration, including user and group management, accounts, access permissions, licenses, and mailboxes.
  • Foundational understanding of cybersecurity best practices and basic networking concepts; exposure to endpoint security, conference room AV, device management platforms, or ERP systems is a plus. CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent are also valued.
  • A patient, genuinely helpful communicator who can explain technical issues in plain language and provide a steady, responsive experience for the people you support.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience working in a ticketing system and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Self-directed, resourceful, and curious, with the ability to work through unfamiliar problems and an interest in continuing to grow your technical skills.
  • Willingness to support occasional evening and weekend work for events, cutovers, and maintenance windows.

What you'll work with:

Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Entra ID, Azure, enterprise device and endpoint management platforms, a modern security stack, multiple business and ERP systems, current-generation conference room AV, and a growing set of AI tools we are rolling out across the business.

Work environment:

After the initial period, there is potential to move to a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office, based on business needs and performance in the role.

Regular local travel between our Denver-area locations is expected, along with occasional evening and weekend work for events, system cutovers, and maintenance windows.
