About the Role
This role provides a strong on-site IT presence at the Colorado Training Centre and is responsible for the day-to-day support, maintenance, and reliability of local and remote IT systems. This includes end-user devices, network connectivity, training environments, and AV systems.
The successful candidate will ensure the training facility remains fully operational, support training activities, and act as the primary IT contact for US-based stakeholders. They will also contribute to wider global IT support coverage where time zone alignment allows.
Key Responsibilities
Provide end-user IT support across the business globally, with a primary focus on the US user base.
Procure employee and site hardware, maintaining accurate asset records within the service management system.
Maintain and support on-site hardware, including training systems, and provide remote hands support for other IT teams where required.
Ensure the ongoing reliability and operational readiness of the Colorado Training Centre.
Support the onboarding of new starters, including device preparation, configuration, and handover.
Manage the recovery and decommissioning of employee devices.
Act as the primary on-site IT contact for training centre users and stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across end-user technology and support services.
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge and administration of Windows 11.
Experience supporting and administering Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, licensing and mailbox management.
Knowledge of Identity & Access Management including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Group Policy, and user lifecycle management.
Experience with Endpoint Management including Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, device configuration and compliance policies.
Strong hardware troubleshooting skills across laptops, desktops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
Familiarity with endpoint security technologies, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven experience taking end-to-end ownership of incidents through to resolution.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting, and basic firewall and switching concepts.
ITIL Foundation certification.
Experience working within ISO 27001 accredited environments.
