Job Description

The Business Analyst (BA) Consultant II assists in analyzing requirements and requests of the business, operations, and other users of IT services. Serves as the contact for the business divisions and technology solution providers for all aspects of solution identification. BA Consultant II supports projects of low to moderate complexity.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with partners in test plan reviews to ensure plans address the testing of defined functional requirements; supports data analysis and validation from functional tests.

• Executes change control process to alter base-line deliverables and scope for projects of low to moderate complexity; escalates requests for deviations from process when necessary.

• Consults on the functional test plans and conditions for assigned applications / projects of low to moderate complexity; ensure that the test plans cover the testing of all defined functional requirements; supports data analysis and validation from functional tests.

• Assist with project initiation or planning for projects of low to moderate complexity.

• Uses appropriate tools and techniques to elicit and define requirements that address relatively simple business processes or projects of low complexity.

• Participates in information sessions to provide expertise in a focused area of the business by analyzing data and leveraging business knowledge to create or contribute to functional designs.

Education

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred).

Experience

• 2 or more years of experience (Preferred).

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

• The ideal candidate for this role will possess experience in these areas:

  • Messaging systems (i.e. email, text, & fax communications)
  • Document management systems (i.e. scanning of physical mail and document storage)
  • Understanding of EPIC/Siebel platforms, including troubleshooting complex application challenges
  • Strong data analysis capabilities with proven ability to translate insights into strategic decisions
    • Experience with SQL is preferred
    • Proficiency with using AI tools is a bonus
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new environments and make immediate contributions
  • Proficiency in Agile methodology and project management frameworks

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is $61,000.00 - $93,570.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

*** Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e., commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
