About Us:
The Creative Studio at Resident is a data-driven team producing everything from high-performing ad creative to elevated branded content—including both lifestyle photography and video. The studio team operates out of its Bay Area location as well as remote locations across the United States.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Director of the Creative Studio, the Creator Partnerships Manager will take the lead in driving all content creator initiatives and partnerships. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and nurturing a strong network of creators, managing contracts and expectations, and crafting detailed creative briefs. Your efforts will ensure a consistent, high-quality flow of content that supports our brand and marketing goals.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As our Creator Partnerships Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling our creator ecosystem. Your work will directly fuel our content engine and influence how we show up across digital channels. Key responsibilities include:
- Build a Diverse Creator Network: Source, onboard, and cultivate relationships with a wide range of content creators across the U.S., ensuring representation across demographics, styles, and platforms.
- Craft Strategic Creative Briefs: Translate performance data and insights from top-performing user-generated content (UGC) into clear, compelling briefs that inspire creators to produce standout work.
- Lead Negotiations & Contracting: Own end-to-end partnership negotiations—including rates, terms, and deliverables—while collaborating with our legal team to maintain best-in-class contract practices.
- Streamline Content Delivery: Develop and manage a seamless system for organizing and delivering content to internal stakeholders, ensuring timely handoff to our Studio and Growth teams.
- Drive Creative Innovation: Stay plugged into emerging trends, creator movements, and platform updates—bringing fresh, bold content ideas to the table during weekly strategy meetings.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in managing content creators or working with UGC style content and creative briefs.
- Proven experience working across creative formats, including web, and paid social (Meta, TikTok, YouTube).
- Strong understanding of the creative development process including creative briefing, scripting, production direction and post production.
- Experience in working with contracts and legal departments either of an agency or corporate company.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work cross functionally with multiple departments outside of your own.
