IT Assistant Intern

Omitron is seeking an IT Assistant Intern to provide short-term support to our corporate IT function. This is a temporary position supporting internal IT operations, including day-to-day technical support, equipment setup, and troubleshooting for Omitron staff. This position is based in Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic technical support to employees, including hardware, software, and account access issues
• Assist with equipment setup, inventory, and asset tracking
• Support troubleshooting of common desktop and connectivity issues
• Help maintain documentation of IT processes and procedures
• Assist with other IT department tasks as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• US Citizenship required
• Security Clearance: None required
• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in IT, computer science, or a related field
• Experience: None required; prior exposure to basic IT support or troubleshooting a plus
• Certifications: None required

Compensation and Benefits:
The rate of pay for this role is $17/hr. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, technical expertise, certifications, security clearance, geographic location, internal equity, market conditions, contract requirements, and other factors.
