ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Inventory Control Supervisor at Biofire, you are the first line of defense to ensure that our Production Team has the inventory required to support our production plan and that our Material Planners have trustworthy and accurate reporting to keep an healthy supply of parts on hand. Your early days will be challenging: Not only will you have to establish systems and processes to ensure inventory accuracy, you will - as we hire warehouse associates - have to take lead on material conveyance. By so doing, you’ll understand, at a molecular level, what’s required to establish a robust and sustainable inventory control program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Day-to-day responsibilities of the role will include:
Receives all BUY production parts into inventory and puts away to appropriate system-directed locations (IQC, stock);
Conveys and transacts BUY parts and MAKE subassemblies to appropriate system-directed production line locations. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of system-based transactions;
Conveys and transacts top level assemblies to appropriate system-directed locations. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of system-based transactions;
Conducts cycle counts to ensure recorded inventory is accurate; performs daily maintenance tasks to ensure data integrity;
Authorizes all adjustments (increments and decrements) made to inventory;
Creates inventory control processes and procedures to a ensure high degree of inventory accuracy; evaluates efficacy of processes and procedures and updates as needed;
Creates key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory control and reports weekly to Production and Manufacturing leadership;
Investigates and resolves discrepancies in a timely manner, identifying root causes, and providing follow-up for areas of improvement;

5+ years of experience in warehouse management or inventory control;
Proficiency in ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), WMS (e.g. Red Prarie, Fishbowl), Excel and Power BI (for dashboards);
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and trends for inventory optimization;

The compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000 /annual salary + stock options + benefits.
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
LOCATION
Primarily on-site: This is a full-time, salaried role. Our dog-friendly, state-of-the-art headquarters is located in beautiful Broomfield, Colorado, between Boulder and Denver. The team regularly engages in collaborative in-person sessions at our vibrant office space, but you will be offered the flexibility to work from home as needed.
