Welcome to Campspot! Whether you are an avid camper, the occasional glamper, an expert RV-er, or new to the outdoors entirely, we're interested in working with you. Our team values diverse perspectives as we seek to create an easy-to-navigate and meaningful camping experience for everyone.

We hope you will consider joining our team! ALL human beings are welcome, and we are committed to helping you thrive here. We believe our team, as well as the outdoors, is for everyone.

The Role

This is a hunter seat at the top of the funnel. You will own outbound pipeline generation into net new Strategic Accounts and city/county opportunities, working hand-in-hand with our senior sales talent  to break into the accounts that matter most.

The motion is high-volume and outbound-led. You won't be waiting for marketing to hand you a list — you'll build target account plans, run disciplined ABM sequences, pick up the phone, and create qualified meetings out of accounts that aren't raising their hands. This is a phone-forward role for someone who treats cold outbound as a craft, not a chore.

This is also a senior seat with a leadership edge. You'll be the most experienced rep on the SDR bench, and you'll own the training and ramp of new SDRs - building the playbook, modeling the behaviors, and making sure new SDRs are set up to win. If you're an SDR who wants ownership over a real territory, a clean strategic + municipal target list, and a clear path forward — read on.

What You'll Own

Net new Strategic Account prospecting. You'll own outbound into a defined list of named strategic accounts. You will also own finding net new Strategic Accounts that will encompass the following — large multi-property operators, management groups, franchise systems, and strategic logos. You'll research each account cold, identify the buying committee, and create qualified opportunities the AE can run.

City & county / municipal pipeline generation. You'll own top-of-funnel for our municipal campground motion — identifying city and county opportunities, mapping the right public-sector contacts, tracking bid and RFP windows, and generating qualified meetings to feed the municipal sales process.

High-volume, multi-channel outbound. This role is built around volume and discipline. You'll run rigorous ABM sequences and cold-call cadences across phone, email, LinkedIn, and events to book qualified meetings. Activity, consistency, and conversion are the job — your pipeline is yours to build.

Training and enabling onboarding SDRs. As the senior rep on the bench, you'll own the onboarding and ramp of the SDRs. You'll build and document the outbound playbook, run call reviews and coaching, and be accountable for getting new reps productive — without losing a step on your own number.

CRM discipline. You'll keep HubSpot clean — accurate stages, next steps, contact mapping, and activity logging. Your pipeline data is something the AE and the business can trust and forecast against.

Cross-functional partnership. You'll partner closely with the Sr. AE’s, Marketing, and Customer Success to align messaging, sharpen targeting, and bring the full weight of Campspot to bear on the accounts that matter.

What You Bring

  • A demonstrated hunter profile — you can point to specific net new accounts you researched, sequenced, and converted into qualified meetings through cold outbound
  • Strong cold-calling chops — you're comfortable owning the phone as a primary channel and can show results from it
  • Desire to run an ABM and multi-channel sequences against a named target list
  • Experience or strong interest in selling into enterprise/strategic accounts and navigating multi-stakeholder buying committees
  • Bonus: exposure to public-sector, municipal, or RFP-driven prospecting (city/county selling)
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, or onboard other reps — formally or informally
  • Fluency in HubSpot (or comparable CRM) and a track record of clean pipeline hygiene and accurate activity tracking
  • Comfort and credibility opening conversations with senior operators and executives — GMs, COOs, CFOs, and owner-principals
  • Experience selling into campground, RV park, outdoor hospitality, or hospitality software is a strong plus

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: $60,000; Commissions eligible with total annual on-target-earnings of $85,000
  • Competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options at affordable rates
  • 401(k) plan with employer match
  • Flexible and casual work environment: we offer flexible PTO and a remote-first workplace
  • Employee camping credit to encourage getting outdoors and experiencing our product!

THIS ROLE IS OPEN TO CURRENT CAMPSPOT EMPLOYEES ONLY.
