You will directly contribute to expanding the business and maintaining strong customer relationships. Position Description

We're looking for a friendly, outgoing individual who will be responsible for serving customers that come into the showroom. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, knowledge of welding equipment and processes, is familiar with computer systems, and has a sales mentality.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Open and closing the store, counting money and balancing cash drawers
  • Stay up to date with current sales, promotions, and policies regarding payment and exchanges
  • Recommend merchandise based upon customer needs and desires
  • Describe and explain use, safe operation, and care of merchandise to customers
  • Price, bar code, and stock merchandise
  • Clean and stock shelves, counters, and tables
  • Compute sales pricing, finalize purchases, receive/process cash or credit payments
  • Other duties as assigned

 

What You Bring to the Team

  • Excellent time management/organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Work independently and with others
  • Customer service experience
  • Basic computer skills i.e. Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Welding experience or knowledge preferred
  • Retail sales experienced preferred
  • Class B CDL with Hazmat preferred
  • Be able to stand on your feet 7 to 8 hours a day with lots of walking, twisting, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, grasping, sitting and repetitive motions
  • Frequent lifting of 10-20lbs is required, may at times lift up to 75lbs
