About FluentStream:

FluentStream is a fast-growing provider of cloud-based communication solutions designed for small and medium-sized businesses. We empower businesses with a modern, enterprise-grade phone system that's easy to use, reliable, and cost-effective. As a preferred vendor for various franchise networks and business communities, we help organizations streamline their communications while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role:

We're looking for a motivated, results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. This role is a great fit for someone with 2+ years of sales experience who's ready to build a foundation in consultative, solution-based selling within the UCaaS space.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll spend much of your time building pipeline through outbound prospecting, while also managing inbound leads as they come in, guiding prospects from first contact through qualification, discovery, and close. This role owns the full sales cycle for smaller opportunities (typically 10 users and under), moving fast from first contact to close, while larger or more complex opportunities are handed off to the Account Executive team. You'll develop your consultative selling skills daily while playing a key role in driving new business for FluentStream.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities through a consistent outbound cadence (calls, email) combined with inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns
  • Complete a consistent volume of daily outbound touches (50 per day on average) to build and nurture a healthy pipeline
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, business goals, and technical requirements
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations that connect FluentStream's solutions to customer needs
  • Use a consultative sales approach to match services to customer needs and successfully manage objections
  • Manage opportunities through the sales cycle, from first conversation through close
  • Own and close smaller opportunities (10 users and under) independently; hand off larger, more complex opportunities to the Account Executive team per established criteria
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and activity updates in Salesforce, and provide reliable pipeline forecasts
  • Keep abreast of UCaaS and telecom industry trends to speak credibly with prospects
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Growth teams to ensure a strong customer experience from first contact through onboarding

Experience We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales roles; exposure to SaaS, UCaaS, telecom, or B2B sales environments is a plus
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and goals
  • Excels in high-volume outbound activity in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment
  • Strong consultative selling instincts, with the ability to run discovery conversations and handle objections
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly
  • Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce strongly preferred) and sales engagement tools such as Apollo.io and email automation platforms
  • A coachable mindset with a desire to continuously improve sales skills and performance
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Leadership, and Growth teams

Compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 - $100,000 as an On Target Earnings(70% base + 30% commission). Base will be hourly, on a 40 hour work week.

What We Offer:

Working at Ooma means being a team player, while allowing your individual voice to come through. And, you'll receive competitive compensation, benefits and generous company perks.

  • Comprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision insurance for you and eligible dependents
    • HMO, PPO’s or a PPO with a HDHP (including HSA, which Ooma helps fund)
  • Employer Paid Income Protection Benefits (Basic Life and AD&D, Short- and Long-term disability)
