Responsibilities
- Applies advanced sales methodologies to guide customers through digital transformation solutions, with a strong emphasis on security improvements and innovation.
- Acts as a trusted advisor by leveraging deep solution and technical knowledge to assess and consult on diverse customer security and infrastructure needs.
- Demonstrates and oversees solution demonstrations, proof of concept sessions, and industry-specific integration to address complex requirements and drive deployment success.
- Shares best practices and technical expertise by leading knowledge-sharing sessions, mentoring peers, and delivering impactful content at Microsoft and industry events.
- Shapes strategic win and customer success plans in collaboration with account and marketing teams, leveraging deep understanding of Microsoft’s offerings and evolving market trends.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR 7+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States that does not now or in the future require employer sponsorship.
- 8+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience OR equivalent experience
- 6+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management
- Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).
Solution Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
