As the Industrial Sales Manager, you will build strong, strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the industrial market. You will serve as a trusted partner and customer advocate—both externally with clients and internally across Emerson—by developing a deep understanding of customer priorities and aligning Emerson’s solutions to help them achieve their goals. This is a high‑impact role ideal for someone who excels at cultivating partnerships, driving growth, and representing the voice of the customer.
- Carry out industrial market sales growth plan for Fluid and Motion Control solutions in industrial manufacturing, power, data center, dust collector, heavy industrial, HVAC, infrastructure and others
- Responsible to lead & grow large OEM, EPC, End User, Integrator, Channel relationships, and opportunities: currently selling into Fluid and Motion Control with the goal of getting our solutions specified and added to customer AML/AVLs, Instrument Specifications, Automation, Controls & Information Standards, and Machinery Specifications.
- Identify key partners within the target accounts organization, who will have an influence on a developing opportunity.
- Engage with strategic targets that promote growth with key USER accounts and develop relationships within Fluid and Motion Control.
- Document via CRM or Emerson account management documentation, account details, personnel, and organization makeup within target accounts
- Train and be the segment lead on Emerson technologies being sold in Fluid and Motion Control applications
- Coordinate with local, regional, and global contacts on opportunities, specification influence, and market initiatives.
- Primary contact for Regional Sales along with collaboration regionally on strategies, global engagement, and programs to support near-term/mid-term growth for our Fluid and Motion Control business and participating in Segment planning and forecasting efforts.
- Coordinate with marketing on providing competitive analysis and new product development opportunities
- Provide a high-level overview of activities internally to the management team, being an advocate for target customers to gain internal support and required resources.
- You are an action-oriented sales professional who ensures accountability and collaborates and builds networks within a growing organization. You instill trust in the customers you serve and develop Win-Win situations for your customers and Emerson by having a strategic demeanor. You show resourcefulness and are resilient at balancing collaborators’ goals.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industrial sales experience
5 years of Industrial experience
Understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word, Excel, Power Point and familiarty with CRM systems
Technical proficiency with the ability to understand technical issues and troubleshoot problems.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to travel 40% with overnight and extended travel days within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Basic understanding of valves, valve automation, and controls
Fluid Control and Instrumentation knowledge/experience
Proficiency in using CRM software, and sales-related tools.
