We are looking to add a Industrial Engineer II to our team. In this role you will develop and improve manufacturing systems, production processes, and operational workflows for products and platforms. This role contributes to manufacturing operations by evaluating production performance, implementing process improvements, and supporting production optimization to ensure products satisfy engineering, manufacturing, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support manufacturing processes, production workflows, facility layouts, and standardized work instructions supporting manufacturing operations.
- Perform engineering analyses, time studies, workflow evaluations, capacity assessments, and labor analyses to improve operational performance.
- Evaluate engineering drawings, production documentation, process flows, and manufacturing data while supporting process improvement activities.
- Perform production planning, labor analysis, capacity planning, manufacturing readiness, and operational improvement activities.
- Analyze production performance, manufacturing data, labor utilization, operational metrics, and process capability while resolving routine operational issues.
- Support root cause investigations, engineering changes, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, production control, and operations teams supporting manufacturing activities.
- Develop process documentation, workflow diagrams, engineering reports, operational metrics, and data summaries supporting business decisions.
- Participate in production reviews, manufacturing meetings, engineering investigations, and operational planning activities.
- Maintain manufacturing documentation, process records, engineering data, and configuration-controlled technical information.
- Apply engineering standards, industrial engineering methodologies, customer requirements, and organizational procedures throughout manufacturing operations.
- Support improvements that enhance productivity, manufacturability, quality, workflow efficiency, and operational performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, operations management, manufacturing technology, or a related field with 2–5 years of related experience, or Master's degree with 0–3 years of related experience in manufacturing, production operations, industrial engineering, machining, assembly, process improvement, or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of industrial engineering principles, manufacturing processes, production systems, and workflow analysis.
- Proficiency with process improvement, time studies, labor analysis, facility layout, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Understanding of manufacturing operations, quality systems, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with engineering data analysis and production performance evaluation.
- Applies analytical thinking and sound judgment to resolve routine operational challenges and recommend process improvements
- Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Industrial engineering, CAD, simulation, and process analysis tools, e.g. AutoCAD, Visio, Arena Simulation, Minitab, or equivalent applications.
- Manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP systems, engineering documentation, and collaboration tools, e.g. Epicor, SAP, Windchill, Jira, or equivalent applications.
